Our Club
AC United Football Club is a Singapore-based sports entity, formed for the sole purpose of providing a professional platform for like-minded footballers to play regular football games.
Over the past many years, the club has taken part in many leagues across the island. In the process, the club is proud to have been called home by players, not just from Singapore, but the world over. The club has seen players from the likes of the US, UK, Germany, Spain, Malaysia, Vietnam, Russia and Myanmar pull on the AC United jersey.
AC United's multicultural roster embodies Singapore's melting-pot spirit, promoting cross-cultural understanding and football excellence.

history
It all began in 1996 when a group of 15 year olds formed a team to take part in an inter-class tournament. Upon graduation, the boys kept in touch and continued to play on a regular basis, sometimes at the old Gloucester pitch, or Tanglin pitch, or any other football fields the team can find.
The team continued to play regularly throughout their NS days. But it wasn’t until 2003 that the team decided to make it more officious, with a proper team name and jerseys.
That was when AC United was born.
The team’s first ever league was the ESPZen Sunday League in 2004. They spent a good portion of the next decade playing there before they left to try out other leagues.
Other than being a football club celebrated for its diversity and inclusiveness, AC United has been active off the field as well. The team had an interactive website with regular match reports, pictures and match videos in a time when this was the exception rather than the norm. They were once featured in a local newspaper as an example of blending football passion with digital innovation.
Under local coach Boonk Lim's guidance, AC United fosters a vibrant, inclusive environment.
